Task

The destruction of the rainforest is an ongoing debate.  All people are effected by what happens to the rainforests.  Some people think that it should be preserved (saved) at all costs while others believe that harvesting the trees (including clear cutting) is all right. 

In this Webquest, you are going to take a look at both sides because that is the best way to understand such a complicated issue.  You will be assigned the role of someone who is directly effected by what happens, you will gather information to support whatever point of view you are assigned and then you will debate this point of view with your classmates.
